This is a very touching story, it makes you look at life in a different perspective. Everyday things no matter how small we think they are, can be the memories we hold on to the most. It can bring a smile to our face or tears of sadness for a loved ones memories. It made me aware that things i took for granted is what I will miss the most. Material things are not as important as living life and creating those special moments. Thank you Mrs Rivera for sharing your precious memories, and opening my eyes as to what is truly important in life mi familia. Also to pay attention to those miracles that sometimes we label as luck. Thank you…..

A very public expression of raw emotions, thoughts and feelings from the most private person I know. Makes you wonder if you really ever “know” what is going on with your loved ones. Inspires you to have the courage to “be present”, and LIVE your moments to the fullest.Private thoughts, emotions and feelings publically displayed .. COURAGEOUS and beautiful.. You will appreciate the honesty..

This story was at the same time heart wrenching and inspiring. I appreciated the honesty. We often feel guilty when we struggle with God’s will, wondering why he allows things to happen that challenge us to the deepest level of our souls. Ms. Rivera’s story of her beautiful daughter who’s life was cut short makes us appreciate the everyday miracles that happen all around us. Maybe we just need to ask God to reveal those miracles and then be open to receiving them. Thank you for sharing this story and your daughter with the rest of us!
